Repacking the Rice With Fazly
Guess this was like 3 or 4 weeks overdue but I did take part for the National Wide Project Rice this year.
I was placed in charge of Area 8 in Simei.
There were volunteers from all different institutions, JC, Polytechnics and even Universities.
I had 10 volunteers to work with.
So yeah, it was fun working with them.
We covered 10 blocks near Changi General Hospital so yeah, it was not a difficult location as my attachment was very near that place.
We collected like 20 packs of 5kg packs, so much that we had to call the transport at least 3 times to despatch the rice back to the mothership which was ITE College East.
Anw, I had a great time participating in it.
All in the name for Red Cross.
Guess its gonna do wonders as I contributed 4 full weekend shifts towards it.
Thats like 40 hours as we worked 8-6pm everyday.
